amped youth

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.- Romans 1:16

Many youth grow in the church, but few learn to own their own walk with God. Our goal in Amped Youth Ministry is to do exactly that; give anyone between the ages of 13-18 ownership of their own walk with God. Love is the first and second greatest commandment; first to God, and then to People (Matthew 22:37-40). Love is a necessary piece of the puzzle for any believer, but it is learned through the Bible and our walk with God. It is learned through the equipping of fellow believers and is not limited by age (Ephesians 4:11-13). Once we accept God, and begin to follow his principles, we begin to be His Disciples. This is a life-long process that begins with personal ownership of our walk and denying ourselves daily (Matthew 16:24-25). While growth is constant in our walk with God as Christians we all have a calling straight from Jesus, The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). With our walk with God comes a necessary part of any Christian life, sending the believers to save souls.

Our goal is to not just be a youth ministry, but to be an outreach ministry (1 Timothy 4:12). There is no “right age” for the ministry. The faster the youth are equipped with a vision of saving souls the better. The goal of Amped is to equip the youth with the tools necessary to be a witness in their community. By showing the youth that they can be excited about sharing their faith, and growing in the Lord, we believe that we can reach souls for Christ. We know God will never allow those who build His kingdom to fail.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to give young people the opportunity to take ownership of their relationship with God, and equip them

to grow as a member of the body of Christ.

What We Do:

In order to facilitate personal growth, our youth ministry hosts weekly Bible studies where the youth can hear bible teaching applied directly to their lives. These bible studies also encourage fellowship, and growing in love for one another. We also encourage our youth to serve in the church as part of the body of Christ. Lastly, we desire that our ministry would also be an outreach ministry fulfilling the great commission. We teach our youth to share their faith, and challenge them to be a light in their schools, communities, and homes.
